Los números en inglés
Contar, decir precios, edades, teléfonos y fechas. Con tres patrones dominas casi todos.
⏱️ En 30 segundos
✅ 13–19 terminan en -teen (thirteen); las decenas en -ty (thirty).
✅ Compuestos con guion: twenty-one, forty-five.
✅ Los cientos llevan and en inglés británico: one hundred and five.
✅ Ordinales para fechas y orden: first, second, third, fourth…
🇪🇸 Cómo se dice en español
first, second, third → primero, segundo, tercero
How old are you? → ¿Cuántos años tienes?
I'm 25 → Tengo 25 años (en inglés se usa "be", no "have")
How much is it? → ¿Cuánto cuesta?
1. Teen o ty: escucha la diferencia
-teen (fuerte al final)
-ty (fuerte al principio)

💡 Ojo con la escritura: forty (sin u), fifteen / fifty (no fiveteen), twelve.
2. Números grandes, precios y teléfonos

2026 (el año también se dice twenty twenty-six)

Los teléfonos se dicen número por número; el 0 suena "oh".

⚠️ Errores típicos de hispanohablantes
two hundreds dollars
✓ two hundred dollars
hundred y thousand no llevan -s con un número delante.
fourty
✓ forty
40 se escribe sin u.
I live in the floor five.
✓ I live on the fifth floor.
Pisos: ordinal + floor, con on.
1.500 dollars
✓ 1,500 dollars
En inglés los miles van con coma y los decimales con punto.
