Be going to: planes y predicciones
Como el "voy a…" del español. Lo usamos para planes decididos y para lo que claramente va a pasar.
⏱️ En 30 segundos
✅ Estructura: am / is / are + going to + verbo.
✅ Planes ya decididos: I'm going to study tonight.
✅ Predicciones con evidencia: Look at the clouds! It's going to rain.
✅ Para decisiones del momento usamos will: I'll help you.
🇪🇸 Cómo se dice en español
I'm going to travel → Voy a viajar
It's going to rain → Va a llover
Are you going to come? → ¿Vas a venir?
I'll help you → Te ayudo / Te ayudaré (will)

💡 Hablando rápido, going to suena "gonna": I'm gonna call you. Escríbelo siempre como going to.
2. Going to vs will
We're going to visit Baños next weekend.
Vamos a visitar Baños el próximo fin de semana. (plan decidido)
The phone is ringing. I'll answer it.
Suena el teléfono. Yo contesto. (decisión en el momento)
Be careful! You're going to fall!
¡Cuidado, te vas a caer! (lo veo venir)
⚠️ Errores típicos de hispanohablantes
I going to study.
✓ I'm going to study.
Falta am.
She is going to studies.
✓ She is going to study.
Después de to, verbo base.
I go to travel next year.
✓ I'm going to travel next year.
"Voy a" = be going to.
Are you going to the party go?
✓ Are you going to go to the party?
going to + verbo + resto.
