1. Artículos (Articles)
A/An (Indefinidos):
- Se usan con sustantivos contables singulares mencionados por primera vez.
Ejemplo: I’ve got a new job. / Have you got an umbrella?
- Con profesiones:
Ejemplo: He’s a doctor. / She’s an engineer.
The (Definido):
- Para cosas específicas (ya mencionadas o únicas).
Ejemplo: Shut the door. / Don’t look at the sun.
- Con superlativos:
Ejemplo: That’s the best meal ever!
Sin artículo:
- Sustantivos en general (plurales o incontables).
Ejemplo: Dogs make good pets. / Life isn’t fair.
- Nombres de países, ciudades, calles, idiomas (excepto the USA, the UK).
Ejemplo: I live in Tokyo. / We speak Spanish.

2. Cuantificadores (Quantifiers)
Con sustantivos contables (plural):
- A lot of / Lots of (muchos, informales):
Ejemplo: She has a lot of friends. / Lots of people came.
- Many (muchos, en negativas y preguntas):
Ejemplo: Are there many biscuits left?
- Some (algunos, en afirmativas o ofertas):
Ejemplo: I bought some oranges. / Would you like some tea?
- Any (ninguno/alguno, en negativas y preguntas):
Ejemplo: We don’t need any apples.
- A few (pocos):
Ejemplo: There are a few seats free.
Con sustantivos incontables (singular):
- A lot of / Lots of (mucho):
Ejemplo: She earns a lot of money.
- Much (mucho, en negativas y preguntas):
Ejemplo: Is there much butter left?
- Some (algo):
Ejemplo: I need some food.
- A little (un poco):
Ejemplo: Add a little salt.
- A bit of (informal):
Ejemplo: He ate a bit of cake.

3. Determinantes (Determiners)
- This/That/These/Those:
Ejemplo: Do you like this shirt? / Those shoes are cool.
- Each/Every (cada):
Ejemplo: Each student got a prize. / I go jogging every day.
- All/Both (todo(s)/ambos):
Ejemplo: All my friends came. / Both (of) the children laughed.
- Last/Next (pasado/próximo):
Ejemplo: I saw her last week. / We’ll travel next year.

- The = algo específico o único.
- Some vs Any:
- Some = afirmativas u ofertas.
- Any = negativas o preguntas generales.
- Many vs Much:
- Many = contables.
- Much = incontables.
Ejemplos clave:
