Conditionals: zero, first y second
Las frases con "if" dependen de si hablamos de algo siempre cierto, algo posible o algo imaginario.
⏱️ En 30 segundos
✅ Zero: if + presente, presente. Verdades generales.
✅ First: if + presente, will + verbo. Situaciones reales o probables.
✅ Second: if + pasado, would + verbo. Situaciones imaginarias.
✅ Nunca pongas will o would justo después de if.
🇪🇸 Cómo se dice en español
If it rains, I'll stay at home → Si llueve, me quedaré en casa
If I had money, I'd travel → Si tuviera dinero, viajaría
If I were you → Yo que tú / Yo en tu lugar
unless → a menos que

Yo que tú, aceptaría el trabajo.
I won't go unless you come with me.
No iré a menos que vengas conmigo. (unless = if not)
💡 If I were you es la forma correcta para dar consejos, aunque oirás "if I was" en conversación.
⚠️ Errores típicos de hispanohablantes
If it will rain, I'll take a taxi.
✓ If it rains, I'll take a taxi.
Después de if: presente.
If I would have money, I would buy a car.
✓ If I had money, I would buy a car.
Después de if: pasado, no would.
If I am you, I'd study more.
✓ If I were you, I'd study more.
Situación imaginaria: were.
Unless you don't hurry, you'll miss the bus.
✓ Unless you hurry, you'll miss the bus.
Unless ya es negativo.
