Ejercicio 1: Elegir el Pronombre Relativo Correcto

Completa las oraciones con el pronombre relativo correcto: who, which, that, where, when, whose, why.

Ejercicio 2: Defining vs. Non-Defining Relative Clauses

Decide si las siguientes oraciones necesitan comas (non-defining) o no (defining).

  1. My brother who lives in Cuenca is visiting us next week.
  2. Gabriel Garcia Marquez who wrote One Hundred Years of Solitude was Colombian.
  3. The car that I bought last month is already having problems.
  4. Quito which is the capital of Ecuador is in the Andes mountains.

En las siguientes oraciones, indica si se puede omitir el pronombre relativo (✓) o no (✗).

Reescribe las oraciones poniendo la preposición al final.

Ejercicio 5: Reduced Relative Clauses - Participio Presente

Reduce las siguientes cláusulas de relativo usando el participio presente (-ing).

  1. The man who is waiting outside wants to talk to you.
  2. People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
  3. The students who are studying in the library are very quiet.
  4. The car that is parked in front of my house is blocking the driveway.
  5. Anyone who needs help should contact the office.

Reduce las siguientes cláusulas de relativo usando el participio pasado.

Transforma las cláusulas completas en cláusulas reducidas cuando sea posible.
